This is so much easier than making regular posts about how I have nothing to do or report. I applied to work at the phonathon here at La Salle (with Drew as my boss). Woot. Jammed with Jelone today on a bunch of covers. Kid's pretty good at drums. Made some artwork, though I already gave (5) away.5)

Drew. This is kibby! and this is the first time I've read/commented on your blog... yay! Anyway, I would like you to post an artist's statement and tell us all a)your technique b) what you are trying to say with your work and c)is your art successful in its goal. Also feel free to include and/or reference any inspiration or motivation. This should be good. I always make Ryan do this because I think it's a good exercise, but his "artist statement" always goes something like "I, uh, had this idea so I sketched it out and then painted it. I feel, uh, that my motivation was that I really like painting." So Drew, your challenge is to make a more compelling artist's statement than my boyfriend's who, since he has a BFA in Painting and Contemporary Art History, should probably have a much better one.
